This summer was my first time going to one of these things. it's easy to see how the people who work there get the reputation for being odd, just cuz of the funny accents and tights n stuff.

and now for the coolest thing there: Elephants!
 
it's been years since i've taken any kind of history class, but i didnt know that elephants were used in england (or wherever renaissance took place). so i didnt ride it cuz i'm unemployed, BUT it touched me with it's snotty nose, cool huh?

the other fun thing there was a challenge/game called jacobs ladder. i tried a few times and couldnt climb it, it'd be cool to get on and figure it out, the one at the fair looked less play-toy like, this is an accurate picture of the ladder  though
