good things today
- new laptop: i'm soooo happy that my parents got me a new laptop. it's an IBM T40 and it's 100% perfect for me. whenever i hold it this feeling of spoiledness come over me - it feels good.
- cute couple: i served this engaged couple who looked totally into each other. heh, and . . . it feels especially nice to know that in the future dustin and i can be each others fiancees like that.
- working at 30$ per hour: the pay is awesome for the hour, but it's only comfortable for 6 hours a day tops. it's a little stressful too but . . . man i wish i could make this much and not be dead tired afterwards.
bad things today:
- stingy asian man: one table bothered me a lot tonight, this asian man tried to cheat the restaurant by ordering a meal for himself and having his wife use his added-on salad bar for 2.50 as her meal instead of paying the 8.00 for the meal for one person. the way he wouldnt let her say what she wanted when i took their orders and how he just read the newspaper the entire meal while she ate in silence was a pitiful thing too.
- hurt wrist: by the end of the night i was balancing plates against my left arm instead of carrying them with my right hand. it fuckin hurt bad sometimes, maybe i can find a wrist splint before work tomorrow night. what sucks is that i was gona try bowling tomorrow . . . i hope it's not too late to become ambidextrous.
